Stunning Lakefront Serenity with Five-Star Service
We had a wonderful stay at this house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean, and the furniture was brand new. The lakefront view was stunning. We had a great time stargazing and kayaking. Nick was always friendly and helpful in answering our questions.
The Perfect Marathon Basecamp: Gorgeous Views & Thoughtful Hosts
What a wonderful stay! My family and a friend came in for the MDI marathon and stayed here for the days surrounding it. The house is gorgeous and basically new. Nicholas was so thoughtful and left us a pasta dinner for the evening before. Went for a swim after our run (cold but perfect) and hiked Schoodic mountain right from the house. Would definitely stay again.
A Secluded Scandinavian Masterpiece: Off-Grid Luxury at Its Finest
We were the first guests to stay at this property. This property is absolutely amazing. You drive down a dirt road for a couple miles and then get to the driveway, which itself is almost a mile long. Then you pull up to this brand new Scandinavian style house. It is built in the passivehaus style with almost no environmental impact but with all the amenities you need to be comfortable. There are 56 solar panels on the roof. It’s in a stunning setting on a large, gorgeous lake. The cell service is spotty (we have AT&T), but the WiFi is robust so if you enable WiFi calling you’ll be fine. While this location is very remote and secluded, the tradeoff is peacefulness and serenity. The stars at night are stunning. There are no tvs but honestly we did not miss a tv. It’s a magical place and not like any property we have ever stayed at. Our stay here exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely book a stay here again. Very highly recommended.
