Welcome to Play In The Woods

We're thrilled to host you at our eco-cabin in beautiful Maine. By booking a stay with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Booking & Payments

Deposit: A 50% deposit of the total booking cost is required at the time of reservation to confirm your stay.
Final Payment: The remaining 50% balance is due 4 weeks (28 days) prior to your scheduled arrival date. If the final payment is not received by this deadline, your reservation may be canceled, and your deposit may be forfeited.
Payment Methods: We accept [List accepted payment methods, e.g., major credit cards, PayPal]. All payments are processed securely.
Pricing: All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. Prices do not include any applicable taxes or fees, which will be added at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

100% Refund: If you cancel your reservation at least 28 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a 100% refund of any payments made.
50% Refund: If you cancel your reservation between 21 and 27 days (inclusive) prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a 50% refund of any payments made.
No Refund: If you cancel your reservation within 21 days of your scheduled arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in Time: After 3:00pm EST on your arrival day.
Check-out Time: Before 11:00am EST on your departure day.
Early Check-in/Late Check-out: May be available upon request and for an additional fee, subject to availability. Please inquire in advance.

Occupany & Guests

Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests allowed in the cabin is may not exceed the number provided at booking. Exceeding this limit without prior approval may result in additional charges or termination of your stay with no refund.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome. Please inform your concierge if additional services may be required for especially young children.
Pets: All pets are strictly prohibited.

Cabin Use & Responsibilites

Respect for the Environment: As an eco-cabin, we ask all guests to be mindful of their environmental impact. This includes conserving water and energy, properly disposing of waste, and respecting local wildlife and natural habitats.
No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin and within [Specify distance, e.g., 20 feet] of any cabin structure. A cleaning fee will be charged if this policy is violated.
Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage to the cabin or its contents during their stay, beyond normal wear and tear. The cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest.
Prohibited Activities: Illegal activities, excessive noise, or any other behavior that disturbs the peace of the property or violates local laws are strictly prohibited.
Cleaning: Guests are expected to leave the cabin in a reasonably tidy condition upon departure. Excessive cleaning may incur additional charges.

Liability

Play In The Woods and it's owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during your stay. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. By booking, you agree to assume all risks associated with your stay.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these terms and conditions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government regulations, or power outages.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be posted on our website.
